Dr. Joshua Paul Berridge is Board Certified in Periodontal and Implant Surgery. Dr. Berridge has focused clinically on providing periodontal plastic surgery and all aspects of dental implant placement for his patients.

Immediately following, he completed a 3-year residency in Periodontal and Implant Surgery. He graduated top of his class and also earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology. After residency, military orders brought him to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He currently serves as the Chief of Periodontal and Implant Surgery and is the Sedation Officer for the Dental Command.

As a specialist and expert in the field, Dr. Berridge has published multiple journal articles on dental implant surgery and periodontal plastic surgical techniques. He is passionate about teaching and lecturing to dental colleagues regarding surgical placement of dental implants and treating peri-implantitis, bone loss around implants. His drive to share knowledge led him to volunteer at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, currently as an Adjunct Professor.

Dr. Berridge looks forward to calling the Sandhills of North Carolina home after the completion of his active-duty tour. Outside of his surgery and academia he enjoys golfing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dr. Brent Boyse is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School. He completed his surgical training at the University of Rochester, and he is also a Certified Facilitator for the Arbinger Institute.

He has dedicated much of his career to seeking out the best education and teaching surgical techniques all over the world. He has trained professionals in North and South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

He is a consultant and educator for three dental companies and trains oral surgeons globally through Peak Performance Seminars and Dental CE Solutions.

At one time the 17-year-old Adam forewent an engineering opportunity at The University of Michigan to join the United States Marine Corps. After a 4-year enlistment, Corporal Hogan returned to U of M to study pre-medicine and anthropology/zoology. His curious path led him to dentistry where he graduated from Michigan School of Dentistry in 2003.

Dr. Hogan’s first All-on-4 procedure was accomplished during his GPR with Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth in 2004. After serving with the U.S. Navy for 3 additional years, he joined his mentor, Truman D. Baxter Jr., where he focused in dental implants and complex prosthodontics.

Dr. Hogan owns and operates Full Implant Choice, a private practice dedicated to dental implants and fixed, full arch, immediate load, teeth-in-a-day. As a solo practitioner he orchestrates all phases of full arch treatment including management, sales, surgery, prosthetics, and maintenance. Additionally, he built an in-office, full-service laboratory known as Seven Cities Dental Arts, L.L.C. that also services outside offices. In 2018, he transformed his highly successful general dentistry and implant practice to an implant only, full-arch practice performing over 20 arches per month. Today, Full Implant Choice is a small, privately-owned but nationally recognized leader and authority in fixed, full arch.

In 2022, Dr. Hogan founded The Atlantic Implant Institute, a center dedicated to educating doctors to treat patients safely and effectively with full arch treatment modalities from fundamentals to digital workflow and even the business side of full arch. Dr. Hogan is an Honored Fellow AAID, Fellow ICOI, Fellow AGD and board-certified Diplomate ABOI. Adam and his wife, Allie, the boys, Hunter and Max and dog, Cooper, live a simple and purposeful life in Virginia Beach, VA.

Dr. Daniel Kubikian majored in pharmacy at St. John’s University in New York and received the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) The University of Pennsylvania in 2001. Dr. Kubikian continued his studies completing a 4-year post-graduate program in periodontics and periodontal prosthesis while earning the Chairman’s Award, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruce Smoler, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., F.I.C.O.I.

Dr. Bruce Smoler, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, is a second-generation dentist who learned early on that being a lifelong learner means never losing the curiosity to expand his knowledge. This commitment fuels his passion for helping others live better lives. With over 6,000 hours of continuing education, he exemplifies this philosophy and is widely regarded as a pioneer in dental implants, having placed over 10,000 implants throughout his 35+ years of experience. His dedication to personal excellence is further evidenced by his 14-year career as an endurance triathlete, culminating in one Full Ironman and 13 Half Ironman races. The thrill of crossing the finish line after 13 hours and 7 minutes remains one of the most exhilarating experiences of his life, with clothes on.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Smoler has pursued numerous surgical residency programs and has attained fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). These accomplishments reflect his unwavering commitment to dentistry, particularly in implant reconstruction. His humanitarian efforts, including time spent in Guatemala City with ORCAA, demonstrate his dedication to helping those in need.

As a key opinion leader (KOL) for multiple implant manufacturers, management programs and labs, Dr. Smoler lectures and mentors dentists nationwide, advancing full-arch reconstruction and practice management. His long-standing partnerships with Biohorizons Implant Systems and Neocis, the Yomi Robotic company, have enabled him to witness firsthand the benefits of collaborating with innovative OEMs in implant dentistry.

In 2020, driven by the desire to enhance patient outcomes, he founded SmolerXpress®, a proprietary guided protocol that enables flapless and precise implant placement with fewer incisions. His professional goal is to make traditional dentures obsolete, and his in-office training programs empower colleagues to help denture wearers "Ditch Their Dentures." As Dr. Smoler often says, “Why glue ‘em when you can screw ‘em?”
