Dr. Brandon Kofford, DMD, MS, FACP
Dr. Kofford graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine in 2008.
In 2011, he completed his Prosthodontics residency with the United States Air Force (USAF) at Lackland Air Force Base, Wilford Hall Medical Center, and MacKown Dental Clinic. During his residency, he also earned a master’s degree in biology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Kofford served six years in the USAF, achieving the rank of Major, before transitioning to private practice in Cary, North Carolina, in 2014. He is a partner in seven dental practices and a full-service dental laboratory.
In 2018, Dr. Kofford and Charles Rudisill developed the Smart Denture Conversions Separable Fastener technology, which launched in 2019. They also co-developed the Omnibut (an omnidirectional multi-unit abutment), which debuted in January 2025.

Dr. Safa Tahmasebi, DDS
Dr. Safa Tahmasebi received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from St. John’s University at Queens New York in 2005.
He attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009. After finishing his general practice residency fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY in 2010, he went on to complete his advanced education program with a master of science in Prosthodontics at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2013 where he also served as an adjunct clinical instructor to the undergraduate program. In 2013, Dr. Tahmasebi joined the SameDay Dental Implants Branemark Osseointegration Center in Dubai, UAE as a clinical director specializing in full mouth implant rehabilitation and smile reconstruction.
Dr. Tahmasebi began speaking to audiences in 2013 and continues to lecture at major conferences in the United States and internationally on full mouth implant rehabilitation protocols. In 2019, Dr. Tahmasebi returned to the United States and joined the Metro-Charlotte Clear Choice Dental Implant Center as a key member of the team specializing in immediate loading protocols and full mouth implant rehabilitation. Currently Dr Tahmasebi limits his Jacksonville, Florida practice to surgical and prosthetic treatment for immediate fixed full mouth implant supported reconstruction cases.
Now a faculty member at the Pikos Institute, he trains clinicians globally. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology.
